As a First Officer you’ll have the following qualifications and experience OR ability to obtain prior to commencement: 

• An Australian Air Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL (A)) OR Australian Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL (A))
• For CPL holders:
• Passes in all Australian ATPL Theory subjects OR New Zealand ATPL Theory subjects
• Endorsements for Instrument Approach 2D and 3D on a CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating 
• A current Instrument Proficiency Check (MEA)
• Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your CASA Licence
• Current CASA Class 1 Aviation Medical Certificate
• The ability to hold an Aviation Security card, ASIC (Aust) & AvSec (NZ)
• Hold a current passport with at least 12 months validity 
• The right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction or sponsorship. Non New Zealand or Australian passport holders require a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa

Hours Requirements: (Updated) 

• Total Time: 1,500 hours
• 500 hours multi engine OR 500 hours single engine turbine
• One of the following:
• 250 hours PIC; OR
• 250 hours command (minimum 70 hours PIC) and 500 hours as an FO on transport category aircraft
